Butter Chicken is an easy recipe that's full of savory flavor with warm spices. This mild curry has tender chunks of chicken simmered in a creamy spiced curry sauce. It's quick to make with chicken, tomato sauce, cream, and handful of pantry spices.

Steps to make Butter chicken:

  1. Marinate chicken with 1/2 tsp ginger,1/2 tsp garlic,red chilli powder turmeric powder,salt and orange food colour.
  2. Keep aside for an hour.
  3. Heat butter in a pan. and shallow fry the marinated chicken
  4. Cover it and cook in a low flame until dried
  5. Make a paste of whole spices.
  6. Heat clarified butter and oil in a pan.
  7. Add onion paste,1/2 tsp ginger paste,1/2 tsp garlic paste,kashmiri red chilli powder and whole spices paste and saute for 5 - 7 mins until oil separated.
  8. Add tomato puree, and sugar and mix well.
  9. Add fried chicken pieces,fresh cream and one cup of water and bring to boil.
  10. Cook on a low flame for 5 mins
  11. Serve hot.
