  1. Combine tomatoes, sugar,onions, garlic, basil, vinegar, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl. Cover and refrigerate 1-24 hours to develop flavors.
  2. Brush baguette slices with olive oil. Sprinkle salt and pepper. Bake at 400° for approximately 5-10 minutes or until bread is crispy.
