  6. Cover and cook for 5-6 minutes until it's soft and cooked
  7. Remove the lid and cook until the water relased from the gourd dries up completely.Now add sugar and cook it until the gourd absorbs the sugar syrup.
  8. Once it's combined add a tsp of elaichi powder
  9. Mix well and add the sauteed dry fruits
  10. Now add khoya and mix well
  11. Switch off the flame and mix well.Halwa is ready to be served.
  12. Serve it hot or in room temperature as per your preference.
