Steps to make Rajma Chawal:

  1. Soak Rajma overnight in water. And pressure cook it for 3 whistle with 1 tsp of salt and 2-3 cup of water.
  2. Now heat 1/2 tbsp of oil and butter in cookware and add cumin seeds, green chilli, thin slice onion, chopped ginger and saute it till it become golden brown.
  3. Then add tomatoes and coriander in it and cook till it become soft and mushy.
  4. Take this mixture in blender and make fine puree of it.
  5. Now in same pan add remaining oil and pour puree in it and again let it cook till it become slightly dry. Then add curd. And again let it cook till it shows oil on surface.
  6. It's time to add spices. Add Ciba Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder, Ciba Hing, Ciba Achari Masala, Ciba Chicken Masala (you can use Ciba Rajma Masala too but It was not Available at the time.) And mix it
  7. Now add cooked rajma with it's cooking water. And mix it. Add salt as per need and fresh Cream and let it cook for 20-30 minutes on low flame.
  8. Once gravy looks well blended with masala, add kasuri methi and our rajma is ready now.
  9. Serve it hot with Jeera Rice or just with Naan too.
