  6. Take 2 Bay leaves
  7. Make ready 1 small cinnamon stick

  10. Make ready 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  11. Make ready for spinach paste–
  12. Take 1.5-2 cups Water
  13. Take 500 grams Spinach (net weight)
  14. Take 1/2 tsp Salt

Add half the chicken cutlets and cook until golden brown and Return the chicken cutlets to the skillet, turning them in the sauce to coat and to rewarm them. Serve on top of the Garlic Spinach. Steps to make Garlic Butter Spinach Chicken:

  1. Clean and wash the spinach, add water and salt and cook the spinach for about 15 minutes in a covered kadhai/ pan. Once cooked, let it cool so that you can handle it while grinding in the mixer grinder. Grind the spinach along with the boiled water and make a fine paste. Now your spinach paste is ready to cook with the chicken.
  2. Heat the butter along with the oil in a kadhai or pan, once heated add the dry whole red chilli, bay leaves and cinnamon stick, let it crackle, then add the chopped garlic saute it for 30 seconds or so and add the chopped onion and saute it till it becomes translucent.
  3. Now add the chicken and cook it for about 15 minutes,add the salt as per taste and garlic paste in between the cooking process, stir the chicken frequently (no need to cover the pan / kadai).
  4. After this add the prepared spinach paste to the chicken, stir and mix it and cover the pan / kadai and let it cook for another 15 minutes, stirring in between. (I did not add any water, there was enough in the spinach paste but if needed please add warm water little at a time, if required).Check salt and adjust the consistency of the spinach gravy as per your preference.Now the Garlic Butter Spinach Chicken is ready to be served. It can be served both with rice and Chapatti.

The chicken is flattened and then grilled over a high heat to keep it succulent and juicy. And the garlic butter cooks slowly whilst the pasta cooks. Wine: This garlic chicken and pasta is perfect for pairing with a sparkling wine. A Prosecco would be perfect here. Alternatively a dry whites like Vermentino.
