  5. Now prepare the gravy. Heat some oil and put all whole garam masala into it. After crackling garam masala, put ginger-chilli paste and mixed it well. After 2-3 mins add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, kashmiri red chilli powder, salt and sugar. Mixed it all together.
  6. After 3-4 mins add cashew-melon seeds paste and mixed it well. Cook it until oil is oozes out.
  7. When oil is getting separated add fresh chhana water or normal water. Cook it for 5-6 mins. Now put the balls into gravy and cook it for 7-8 mins. Do not cover with lid.
  8. Add garam masala powder, ghee and cook it for 2 mins. Fresh Chhana Kofta is ready to be served. Served with puri, roti or naan.
