  10. Add the tinned tomatoes to the pan, tomato paste, a large pinch of salt, half the parsley and the bay leaf.
  11. One the pasta is nearly done, remove the bay leaf from the sauce, add the remaining parsley and stir through. Season to your taste with salt and pepper. Then return the meatball to the sauce to warm through.
  12. Serve the pasta and sauce with the meatballs. Sprinkle with the remaining parmesan. Ready!!
