  1. Get 2 cups whole sprouted oats
  2. Take 1 cup unsalted nut butter (I use 50/50 almond/peanut butter ;-)
  3. Get 1/3 cup virgin coconut oil
  4. Take 1/3 cup raw honey (maple syrup substitute~vegan option)
  5. Take 1 cup unsweetened coconut shredded or flakes or desiccated
  6. Get 1/4 cup chopped nuts (I use walnuts and cashews)
  7. Take 1/4 cup dried fruit (I use cranberries, cherries or apricots)
  8. Prepare 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  9. Take 3/4 cup dark or semi sweet chocolate chips (carob chips work well too as vegan option ;-)

May contain traces of dairy, peanuts, wheat, and tree nuts. Our GO Energy bars provide a boost of carbohydrate - great for fuelling before or after training and races.

Instructions to make Frontside 50/50 Energy Bar:

  1. In sauce pan on low heat add all ingredients EXCEPT CHOCOLATE.
  2. Turn of heat and add chocolate…
  3. Put mixture into 9x9 pan, either lined with parchment paper or foil.
  4. Put Mix in place
  5. Refrigerate 4 hours or more.
  6. Keep refrigerated in sealed container until ready to serve.
  7. I actually individually wrap in parchment paper so hubby can take to work or to skatepark 🏂
