Chinensis varieties do not form heads and have green leaf blades with. Bok choy, also known as leafy Chinese-cabbage, is one of the popular vegetables in the mainland China, Philippines, Vietnam and other East-Asian regions.

Bok Choy is one of the most favored of current trending meals on earth. It’s easy, it is fast, it tastes yummy. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. Bok Choy is something that I have loved my whole life. They’re fine and they look wonderful.

The ingredients needed to make Bok Choy:

  1. Take 1 lb Bok Choy
  2. Prepare 4-6 Black Mushrooms (or any type that you like really)
  3. Prepare 2-3 tbls oil
  4. Get 1/4 cup Chicken or vegetable stock
  5. Take 1/2 tsp sugar
  6. Take 1 tsp corn starch dissolved in 2 tbls water
  7. Make ready to taste Salt & pepper

Instructions to make Bok Choy:

  1. Prep: chop and dice the Bok Choy; separating the leaves. Dice/slice mushrooms
  2. Heat oil and saute Bok Choy for 1 minute.
  3. Add leaves & salt; saute for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add mushrooms and stock; boil.
  5. Mix in sugar and corn starch. Serve!

With crunchy stalks and tender greens, bok choy is at home in stir fries and Asian stews—but its uses don't end there. Treat the crunchy cabbage variety like any.
