  1. Make ready 1 heap cup homemade crumble paneer
  2. Prepare 1 big onion chopped
  3. Make ready 2 green chillies
  4. Get 1/4 cup cashewnuts pieces
  5. Get 1/2 cup warm water to soak cashewnuts
  6. Prepare 4 tbsp oil
  7. Prepare 1/2 tsp cummin seeds (shahi jeera)
  8. Prepare 2 big tomato (purée)
  9. Make ready 1 tsp fresh ginger garlic paste
  10. Make ready 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  11. Make ready 1 tsp red chilli powder
  12. Prepare 1 tbsp dhania jeera powder
  13. Make ready 1/4 cup fresh malai (from top of milk)
  14. Take to taste Salt
  15. Prepare 1/4 tsp garam masala
  16. Take 1 tsp hand crushed kasuri methi
  17. Make ready 1 tbsp chopped green coriander leaves

Shahi Paneer is a very festive main dish that is creamy and rich in flavor. It is usually a special occasion dish. Shahi paneer can be served with any Indian bread, such as naan or with rice. Shahi Paneer is considered to be a perfect dish for parties, marriages, and festivals.

Steps to make Crushed Shahi Paneer:

  1. Soak cashewnuts pieces in warm water for 1/2 hour. After 1/2 hour grind to smooth paste. Keep aside.
  2. In kadhai add & heat 1 tsp oil. Add chopped onion and chillies pieces. Saute for 2 minutes. As it cool down,grind it in mixer jar to make paste.
  3. In same kadhai add remaining oil. Add shahi jeera, add onion- chilli paste and saute till brown in colour.
  4. Wash tomato and chopped into pieces. Grind in mixer grinder jar to make purée. Add ginger-garlic paste, tomato puree to sauted onion mixture.
  5. Cook on medium flame till oil comes out. Add prepared cashewnuts paste. Mix and saute for 1 minute.
  6. Add all spices,salt and cook till mixture thickens and oil separate.
  7. Add paneer mix and cook for 2 minutes. Add 1/2 cup water cook for 2 minutes.
  8. Add malai mix well. Add and mix garam masala, crushed kasuri methi, coriander leaves and cook for 2 minutes.
  9. Serve/Relish Hot Delicious Crushed Shahi Paneer with Parathas.
